SilkPeel in Wellington
Microdermabrasion has become the top non-surgical procedure for cleaning and revitalizing skin. Thanks to innovations in the field of skin rejuvenation, there is now SilkPeel, the only medical grade in-office procedure with patented technology to treat a wide variety of visible skin conditions on both the face and the body and leave your skin looking great.
The SilkPeel Dermalinfusion skin care procedure is design to improve the appearance of skin with just one or a series of treatments. The procedure takes about 30 minutes, does not cause pain, and does not require any downtime. Similar to microdermabrasion, the SilkPeel® treatment involves the removal of outer layers of skin through exfoliation techniques. However, the SilkPeel® treatment differs from microdermabrasion because it employs the use of various treatment serums specially formulated to treat specific skin conditions
What is SilkPeel?
While Dermalinfusion incorporates a form of microdermabrasion as part if its process, it accomplishes much more. SilkPeel combines high-quality, diamond-assisted microdermabrasion with simultaneous delivery of potent topical serums deep into the surface of the skin and down to the base of the pores. In its exclusive patented technology — Dermalinfusion® — the SilkPeel diamond treatment head handpiece removes the top-most portion of the epidermis (stratum corneum) while Pro-Infusion solutions are infused into the viable epidermis under pneumatic pressure. While Dermalinfusion incorporates a form of microdermabrasion as part of its process, it accomplishes much more — the topical solutions are absorbed down to where they will be most effective in brightening, clarifying, and hydrating your skin. The results of this kind of wet exfoliation leave skin silky smooth and hydrated, giving recipients a healthful appearance and youthful glow.
SilkPeel Results
Results of the SilkPeel treatment are immediately visible. The skin will look and feel smoother, and the skin will have a healthy glow. For the best possible results, patients can undergo SilkPeel® treatment every month. Patients should also adopt an at-home skin care regimen to maintain SilkPeel results; this includes the use of sunscreen, facial cleansers moisturizers, and eye creams.
The current solutions available for use are Brightening, Clarifying, and Hydrating. With these three formulas to choose from, our operators are able to address a wide variety of skin conditions and can even use them concurrently to maximize results.
Brightening Formula: With the powerful trio of Kojic Acid, Arbutin and Mulberry, these new ingredients work together to protect the skin and prevent future damage from reactive oxygen cells and sun exposure. No hydroquinone!
Clarifying Formula: Salicylic acid remains the primary ingredient in this new clarifying solution. With the addition of aloe extract, patients with even the most sensitive, acne prone skin, now have an option that is both soothing and effective.
Hydrating Formula: Hyaluronic acid remains the primary ingredient in this new hydrating formula. We have now combined hyaluronic acid with other powerful humectants to deliver rich, nutritive moisturization to quench even the thirstiest skin.

Lumixyl SilkPeel®
Hyperpigmentation, the darkening of the skin caused by increased melanin, is a common occurrence, but one that is difficult to remove. Lumixyl SilkPeel has been designed specifically for hyperpigmentation. Lumixyl, an exciting new peptide technology developed by Stanford University research dermatologists, is more effective than many hydroquinone products, in fading dark spots, patchy discolorations, and even melasma according to clinical studies. At the same time, it is completely safe to use on skin and causes no redness or irritation the way that hydroquinone products often do. The Lumixyl peptide has been formulated into a skin brightening SilkPeel ProInfusion Solution for the treatment of hyperpigmentation issues on the face, chest and other parts of the body. One of New Radiance’s expert staff will most likely recommend a series of 4 to 6 treatments, depending on the nature and severity of the skin tone issues the patient wishes to address. Best used by those with damaged skin, or those affected by aging, sun damage, or acne, SilkPeel is great for anyone looking to rejuvenate their skin. It works on all skin types, reducing minor flaws or wrinkles without any downtime.
